giants game

went to a giants game last night ( i skipped my second day of class! *tsk tsk me* ) cause lockheed was having an employee appreciation day or something and gave all the employees free tickets!! ( why doesn't ibm have that?? *cry* ) anyways, it was pretty fun, better than watching on tv of course hehe. our seats were like on the 3rd level so you couldn't really see much, but i guess they were free.

we took the express "cow" train ( caltrain, hehe ) from mountain view and got to sf in about 45 minutes. there was *almost* a baseball brawl when the astros pitcher almost hit Bonds, ALL the players came out from the dugouts and they were all on the field, it was like a standoff! too bad they didn't fight though, that would have been fun to watch! a baseball brawl! but alas after 5 minutes they all went back to the dugout, boo.

we left during the bottom of the 8th cause we were tired, giants were leading 3-2. by the time our train left, the final score was 7-3, astros won!! what the heck?? i think somone hit a homer or something!! i really wanted to see one!!! but so sad, the giants lost. i must admit bonds is good, and so is jt snow. too bad the pitcher lost it in the 9th inning, ah wells! good thing i'm not a baseball fan!

oh yeah, the garlic fries are good, although my breath was stinky the rest of the night hah. and it was a relatively warm night, so a light sweatshirt was plenty warm! overall a good experience, i wouldn't mind going again! we should all go in a group! =P baseball isn't too boring live, but i would never ever watch it on tv.

the train home took soooooo long, i just wanted to go home and sleep, but we stopped at every single stop so it took foreeeeveeer.....like 1.25 hours!
